Indira was born out of love for fashion and sewing! I learned how to sew in high school and enjoyed making clothes for myself and my friends. In March 2020, I took up sewing again and started making masks to donate to local medical facilities. From one Instagram post, I got so many orders I sold over 2000 masks in the course of a few months. This led me directly to starting Indira and making hair accessories!

My love, passion, and creativity all goes into these pieces and it makes my day when I get texts from people wearing them. The community that makes up Indira is so amazing and supportive, not even in my wildest dreams could I have described what it’s become today! All pieces are handmade by myself, in Upstate NY from my small studio in my apartment. I hope they bring joy and confidence to your life as they do to me <3
